LearnDash have just released their new cloud based offering:

We're going to take a look in more details ourselves, but would be keen to hear people's thoughts on their pitch and if you think they'll stack up in the competitive hosted course solution space.

We recorded a bit of an "unboxing" of LearnDash Cloud this morning if anyone's interested. It's quite long, but we talk through the process of setting up a demo site and the features it includes. We also pose a few questions that we had as we went through, mainly echoing some of the comments we've had on this thread:
